Mark Twain is one of my favorite authors and there are a lot of great quotes out there from him. This is one of his best.
Happy Saturday to you! This card is one I made from some pieces I've had lying on my worktable for several weeks. Almost every time I've started a card, I've picked up these papers and tried to use them, but they never seemed right, even though I love the colors and pattern. This time, it finally clicked.
I used the Viva la Verve August 2011 Week 4 sketch for my layout, adding an organza/satin ribbon down the center and a button embellishment in the upper right corner. The meandering stitching around the patterned layer is new for me. Why I ever thought it would be difficult is beyond me. 8~)
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!
