Literary Mouse Mini Card

Sunday, August 4, 2013

I'm back with another mini card, and I'll be quick!
This card is pretty self-explanatory, with 3 layers of rectangles layered on top of a card base, so I'll just mention a few things. The image was stamped on white cs with Rich Cocoa Memento Ink. To give it an aged appearance, I tore the edges, sponged Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the image and heavier long the sides, then sponged Black Soot Distress Ink just on the edge of the cs. The stains were made by spritzing the ink that was on my craft mat from sponging the image, then dragging the cs through it.

The green dp that is behind the image is one that I made myself in my photo program with the kaleidoscope effect. If you look closely, you can see that this is actually a photograph of yarn. I made this several years ago, when I was knitting a lot, and I also made several other designs, then made them into blank card sets.
Here's a look at the inside.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your day! :)

I'm entering this card in the following challenge:

Love this! These minis make wonderful little gift cards. It would be hard to cover up that amazing designer paper you made, but the good thing is you can print more!
