Hop on over and see what these ever-so-talented ladies created using this exclusive set!

Here's my sample:

I used the hydrangea spray stamp on a Twisted Circular Easel Card. The image is perfect for a little watercoloring!

I stamped the image onto watercolor paper, then colored it with Copics. For a watercolor effect I just grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a BrushStix foam brush and went to work. I cut the shapes with Spellbinders dies, edged the image circle with Stickles, and used a Pearl Pen on the outer edge of the front of the card. A small grouping of flowers on the inside worked well as a stopper for the card front. The sentiment is from the same set. Happy Thoughts is the perfect name for this set because all the sentiments really are Happy Thoughts, aren't they! :D

As I was adding the alcohol to the image, I noticed that the back of the paper was starting to look interesting, and I thought you might like to see how it looked. I almost used the "flip" side of the image for this card, but then you wouldn't have seen the beautiful details in the stamp. But, I'm definitely going to try this again in the future. ;) And, speaking of the future, you can check back here next Tuesday to see this same stamp on another card, but with a different look! The Happy Thoughts stamp set is going into my stack of favorite stamps, for sure! I love it!

Remember, the only way to get your hands on this beautiful new set called Happy Thoughts is to become a FLIP member. When you qualify, this stamp set is our gift to you! Coming soon, we'll be adding a Silhouette Cut File to the store, just for this set! Fun stuff!

Thanks for stopping by, and have Happy Thoughts today!

Love the look of this gorgeous card! Very interesting to use alcohol to get a watercolor effect with your Copics. I read a tutorial once about watercoloring regular inks with alcohol, too. Always mean to try that. Thanks for the reminder. Your image turned out just beautiful -- even on the backside! Sort of a Monet look.
