TMS #173: Sleigh Bells

Tuesday, November 20, 2012

Hi Friends! It's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge time! It's also Thanksgiving week for us in the United States, so I'll be brief. I'm busy, and I'll bet you are, too. :)

Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights by Louby Loo, and Bonnie has come up with a unique, fun sketch. Don't you love that banner element?

For my banner, I used some punched pine branches, twine, and bells. The glittery brads were originally brown brads that I colored with a red Copic, then covered with Xmas Red Stickles.

The doily was white, but I used brown and lime green Dylusions Ink Spray on it to get the golden color. The sleigh was heat embossed with a sparkle embossing powder, then fussy cut. I really like that EP. It's different than glitter EP-- more shine than glitter.

I used the same gold embossing powder for the sentiment, and I couldn't get it to photograph well, but in person, it's really pretty. It says, "May beautiful moments and happy memories surround you with joy this holiday season." And, that's my wish for you, too! :D

Thanks for stopping by today, and be sure to head over to the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge blog to see the awesome cards the DT came up with, then link your own creation up for a chance to win a fun prize from Digital Delights!

And remember, the DT call for TMS is open until November 30. Check out the details here.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
